I have a pal who is considering makng some rear wheel drive body shells via his cadcam system.

Im trying to find out what shells would be most wanted. So far have been asked for shells based on rally cars of Ford Cortina/Escort, Porsche 911, Dodge Charger.

So anyone interested or have suggestions ?

Those big rig racing tractors like Mercedes and all the big boys Cummins and Mercedes Volvo etc FG stopped importing them into USA so that would be a good place to start the touring cars are great as well . I like the SC Trucks as well as the real Trophy Trucks I think if they were done to scale they would dominate people are attracted to real cars and real off road vehicles they could buy at a dealer and fix up for racing themselves over make believe stuff that only multi million dollar fabricators spend years building and that cost $500,000 when they could have bought a new ford f150 Raptor "ready for baja truck" or a dune buggy and go race for real but buggy is to common and slow. and there is nothing like watching those big rigs in Australia going 140mph+ and driving the trucks like they are a fraction of their size it is better than nascar or f1 up close.

How 'off-road' are we talking here?
It needs to clear the Marder wheels and suspension articulation.
Some of the bodies mentioned, when made to accommodate the suspension just wouldn't look 'right' possibly.
Al.

A friend has just got a fg 4x4 conversion kit, a Bowler Nemesis shell would look right and cover the articulation.

Plans are moving forward and have a meeting in December with a pal about possibilities on making the shells and whats what.

Will try to get some info when possible.
