It would be great to see some of the large scale rc cars trucks and buggies advertised more. With Losi now releasing there own large scale it would be good to see these on Tv. As when I tell people I have rc cars they first think that they are electric or nitro most people I meet I have to explain that mine runs a 23cc or more gas engine and they weight 10 / 15 kilos. When mates see mine they are blown away by there size noise and performance it would be nice if the general public was made more aware that these are available.
 
I'm no buisnessman but I'd be betting that it's all down to money and not a big enough market unlike the sony playstation or the xbox. Advertising costs a sh*t load of money,MAC tools pays one of the WRC rally teams, 50k per round to have a sticker on one of the door mirrors - that mirror could be knocked off on the first corner of the first stage.
 
Yeah advertising does cost heaps but as the old saying goes you have to spend money to make money. All these rc companies must be making money to keep making and testing new modes so why have I never seen any cool ads on tv. I just believe that if they were to sell more large scale cars than it would benefit us with more affordable parts both genuine and Aftermarket as there would be more demand.
