Arguably the greatest race around ...
Saying that just as the Isle of Man TT has just finished .... which is plain crazy as well.

It is true that the diversity of entries, and the return to top flight endurance racing by Porsche will make for a very interesting race this coming weekend.

If you're going, LUCKY YOU - I'm not, but one day ...
If you've never followed it, I've found it so addictive over the last few years its ridiculous!!
Going to bed at 01:00 didn't make me the most productive at work 'though!!

HUGE accident to Audi No.1 car going faster than the Toyotas.

Audis and Porsches have energy recovery systems, which when combined give total (temporary / lap) outputs of 850 - 900 bhp, weighing 850 - 900 kg!!

Toyota's combined power is >1000 bhp!!

Audi's engine-only power is slightly higher. They're the only diesel powered car.

Anthony Davidson in the Toyota currently fastest ....
The sheer speed of these things is AMAZING!!

They never showed any footage.
Say that it lifted, flew OVER (presume it means ABOVE) the wall, was caught by the catch fencing, which brought it back in, and it landed on all 4 wheels.

Thought to have gone in backwards.

After the Mercedes incidents of 15 years ago - Mark Webber - I don't think they'll leave the aero that marginal.
He was behind another going over a slight 'hump' on the Mulsanne, thus in dirty air and his front lifted, ended up back somersaulting into an area to one side of the track, cleared the day before!!
