I noticed my motor idles better when I lean it out a tad. Just to get it right I turn the L needle clockwise to lean, and counterclockwise to rich it out? I am at a elevation of 6200 ft.

The Low needle is adjusting at idle. The high is your air/fuel mixture.
While full throttle adjust the low until the idle begins to level off (running smooth). Continue to turn 1/8 turn until this is reached and double check the high. Run it around and should have a nice blue smoke trail coming out.

correct. The low needle is to adjust the idle to how you like it. When you turn it clockwise (closing it) you will produce a higher idle and ccw you will open it and cause a low idle and flood the engine - killing it.

Get it to an idle that is high but not to high to cause the truck to run out of control.

Put the truck on blocks and open full throttle, then adjust the high until max rpms are reached (you want to hear a high pitched whine) then once you reach the high point, turn it ccw about 1/16 of a turn for a good air/fuel mixture and for proper cooling. Because you are 6500 feet above sea level the air is less dense (density drops 3% per 1000 ft), so you will have to drive it around until you get that sweet spot that you find working for you.

Been playing with H needle and when I turn in ccw is will be pulling more air so truck running lean? Turn cw I will be pulling less air and running rich? I have been adjusting 1/16 ccw from stock setting, but noticing vary little exhaust is this to lean? Most I've turn ccw from stock is 1/8 of a turn, didn't like the way is sounded so went back. Sorry still learning how to tune.

I think I was running a little to lean for this elevation 6200 ft. I am almost at a 3/8 a turn rich from stock setting. Truck has so much power now. Dialed up L needle a bit and it hammers off the line. Now waiting on a Bartolone pipe. I was surprised I wound up making this large of adjustment in the needles.

I made a short video to see how the motor sounds. Want to make sure the tone of the engine isn't too lean. Doesn't sound rich to me.
