Just bought some super bright LEDS from a company and they came with 1/4 W 470 ohm carbon film resistors.Question is where do you put the resistors? Are they on the anode or cathode and do you need one resistor per LED? I'm going to attempt to do a set of pods for me baja.
Cheers
J.

you need the LEDs to be wired in paralel to each other, with a resistor on each LED. doesn't matter if you go for teh resistor on the annode or cathode, as the resistor is only there to stop the LED going overcurrent and popping when you turn it on.

Thats going to be difficult soldering the resistors onto all them LEDs and then closing the pod.How do the other fellas do it?

Could do them in paralel I spose with one resistor covering all of the LEDs, but you may ave to change the resistor value, not sure how to calculate it (I'm a spanners, not a sparky)
