I took my vekta for a blast the other day and right away into my first pull the wheels locked up. I thought perhaps my mech brake was locked on some how. After some investigation it turns out the motor is the problem. This kraken is Abit of a shelf queen to be honest is rarely used. It’s never over heated or been abused in anyway and it’s like brand new all round. It’s a lenher 3080 motor and after removing it from the car the shaft is very hard to turn. Does anyone know how to open these motors? I’m wondering if something has fallen into the internal fan or something and is jamming it up?

So it ran before this happened?

Sounds like something could be stuck in the internal fan, or as mentioned, maybe the mounting screws were too long to start with. There's a metal plate between the mounting holes and fan, so longer screws could've pushed the plate it into the fan blades
