The old style Leopard had an FG side pipe, it wasn't the best in the world but it did everything you wanted it to. Later Mielke who makes most of the tuned pipes for FG designed this one shown in the pics fitted to my leopard 2 with some slight servo adjustments, a much better pipe.

almost looks like an onroad pipe.

i saw some pics of the new leo with a different pipe again, after it came out of the header did a complete circle before expanding into the chamber.
 
The 4wd comp car is fitted as stadard with the Mielke hurricane, a fantastic pipe and that sounds like what you're talking about.

Here it is on my mates new Leopard.

Honest answer is that I don't know, we're both running different engine, the only way to know is to get them both on a dyno. but the my mate is the FG team driver and doesn't pay for his bits so it's £100 for mine v £285 list price for his.
 
yeap it is costly but i have heard samba are possibly gonna release one soon too also if you pin the pipe that comes with it in the middle and use a couple of tie wraps so if it does dnap the pin then that works too
 
Samba are on with a side pipe which is a good thing, the original rear exit pipe is crap and I've no idea why FG didn't just use the same side pipe - the mielke hurricane for both the 2 & 4wd cars.
