Leopard 2 pipe question

What are some of the side ( mid ) pipes that fit the new leopard ?

Seems like there is not too much room to fit one besides the throttle servo ?

For side pipes, only the Mielke hurricane from the 4wd Leopard and the Leopard 2 Samba pipe are available. In both cases, you'll need to move your throttle servo and brake master cylinder forwards.

Can the servo be moved too the side a bit ??

I think I can fit an older Leopard pipe in there .

Do the larger ( volumetrically ) pipes make more power ? Compared to the stock rear exhaust pipe ?

Harm pipes look longer and bigger too compared to FG units .

Move things where you want them and where they work.

The kit rear exit pipe is good, the others are better.

The old leopard pipe will fit but they're prone to cracking.

Do I need a heat shield like mike did so the body won't start melting ?

Do larger chamber pipes make more power ?

I went with the Leo 2 pipe (Samba) on the 4WD.

I've got all of them, the samba side exit pipe, the mielke side exit pipe, the 2wd kit rear exit pipe and the Samba rear exit pipe.

Anyone knows who makes Off Road HARM Pipes ??

Meilke make pipes for FG, HARM, Elcon and others.

My choice of pipe is Samba every day of the week.

A "large volume", chrome or loud pipe doesn't increase power. Research, developement and lots of testing coupled with skill and knowhow make a pipe that will increase power. For me there are only 2 companies that achive this, Meilke and Samba.

I have a nice harm pipe and that is what I will use

its much larger than the old leopard pipe sound is better too

I noticed much more bottom end compared to old fg .

The new fg leop. steel pipe is very heavy too

Assuming you mean the kit 2wd rear exit pipe, then yes.

The 4wd kit pipe (Mielke Hurricane) is a great pipe and if I'm honest, you wouldn't know the difference.

Seen them and heard them. They used to be made under the name of RN Tuning in Holland or at least for RN tuning.

They're good quality but way too loud.
