My name is John, and Im new to this forum, I like it, I have been into Rc car/trucks since 1992, I race 1/8 scale buggys , Losi 8IGHT[ NITRO], HPI Vorza[ 4s lipo], at a track in Alvin ,Tx called Vertigo Raceway,


A few years ago, a a few of us got together and went to the city and asked them if we could build a 1/5 scale track on public land, they came back and said YES, as long as there was no trouble there, and to keep it clean, Its been open since then. We have 1/5 scale races every weds night, and every Sunday mornings. Started with 5-6 guys, now, close to 30,. People bring the whole familys, set up awnings, grills, ect.


I have a 10 year old daughter, Emily, she is one heck of a racer. We have 2 tracks, 1, 1/5 scale, other 1/8 dirt oval. My daughter races 1/8 dirt sprinter, Maxpower.21 RACE , jammin JP-3, spectrum DS3R, and my HPI Baja . I will post some pictures of our club, Sugarland Racers, and of my daughter running.


I joined this forum about a week ago and you guy have been great, answer all my questions. Im going to buy a rampage, just not sure which one, TT or XT. I will figure it out soon enough.


Now you know me, Lets see those 1/5 scale picks and some bashing. Thank you

i am also new to the forum well this summer the guys here are great i wouldnt have been able to fix half the things i have on my mt without there help well here are a few pic of my truck up at silver lake sand dunes i will have to get some pictures up of the day i got convinced to take it out at a mud bogg

Hello John welcome to the forum, very nice job on getting a track location. I would like to do something like that were I live..


I am not total sure what you mean by it changes.

When I wrote the tread I had everything, indented, and separated, Then I went back to edit a spelling word and it all combined together. ahh who cares!

I don't know if this will fix it but goto your USER CP


and edit options. scroll down to the editor and change it


see if that works...

Welcome to the forum!....The XT will not be available for at least another month (more likely 2)...But if you race regularly with 'lighter' rides, you may want to wait for it...The stock TT weighs in at around 28ish and the stock MT bout 34 the XT will be much lighter.
