I just put in some lights i the front, and had to remove the front part of the body. As I put it back on, just as I make one more turn on the screws to make it tight, the area around the screw hole cracks up with small lines.

Same for the roll cage on the truck bed, around the holes it's all cracked up!

I don't remeber lexan being this brittle on my old FG offroad beetle body...

Ayone else that has these little cracks in their FG body?

Lexan is a tough material when new but they do weaken overtime from hot weather conditions and therefore prone to cracking

Strange thing is that this is a newer, never used body.
I'm used to work on 1/1 cars, maybe I need to use a little less power when I tighten the screws. It's just around the screw holes for the body front and roll cage.
