I read a couple posts about reversing the linkage on the throttle/brake servo and it seemed like a good idea. The brake rod lines up better and allows for more accurate braking. So i swapped mine. It worked great! However, a few weeks ago my mt stuck wide open and i had to drive it into a park bench in order to keep it from hurting anyone or causing any other public damage. Well it turns out my receiver pack was low and the throttle failsafe kicked in and because my throttle linkage was reversed, when the failsafe kicked in it pegged the throttle instead of returning it back to idle. Needless to say i will be returning the throttle linkage back to its stock configuration! DOH!

thanks for the post

I never gave this a thought, I run a DT1 filter so there is no reason to change. The DT1 filter is better any way, only one connection- the hose clamp.

Just bind again after you reversed it.

You can just adjust the fail safe with the different linkage to were it will still close with the shorter linkage. A kill switched is way better!!!!!

Ya need a kill switch man. It has saved me a couple of times. Once not too long ago after I replaced my throttle server the arm screw loosened up and the arm jumped a few teeth leaving the truck wide open. It's great to be able to shut her down. I used a little lock tight on the servo screw. I have never seen that happen in many years of rc play.
