I’m trying to upgrade from nimh to a lipo 2s 7.4v that will fit in the symm steer box, but I can’t seem to find a battery that has the Futaba j connector that goes to my on off switch and the charging port itself it’s either one or the other. Any suggestions or answers I’d appreciate it.

If you have a battery that fits, you can solder whatever connector you want. If you are uncomfortable with that, any local hobby shop should be able to help you out. You can get connectors on amazon.

I run a little 450mah Gens A c e that fits in the sym steer box, lasts a surprisingly long time. It has a 2 pin red JST connector but you can wedge them in a futaba.

Also make sure your servos are HV rated. A fully charged 2s lipo is over 7.4v

If your servos are rated to just 7.4v you'll melt the wires....ask me how I know :p

Thank yall but what I’m saying is I need a battery that has 2 wires, one for the receiver power that is a j connection 3 prong that goes to my on off switch and then to the receiver and then the other wire will be my charging port wire. So more less I’m asking do I have to have a battery set up like that?
