Redcat will set up a dealer for "Brick and Mortor" stores and online. So basically he has either not checked into it or not interested in persuing a dealership.
You find that a lot in hobby shops very opinionated answers that are not always backed up by facts to put it in a politicaly correct way.

Ditto they're full of it cause traxxas are (mostly) crap but $$$ in parts for a small lhs...
MY LHS just started selling Redcat and they love them! Great price point and not that many problems...
they also sell Losi HPI Ofna Kyosho Associated (&Traxxas)
If you are close to North Jersey you can check them out.
They also will ship anywhere in the US just call them.

Of course they want you to buy the HPI Baja, that means money for them. Thats why I avoid hobby shops, they push the products they sell and down everything else.jeffh said:thanks sprint they sell HPI and he told me that redcat was junk and I should bye the 5b for twice as much as the rampage mt. I don't undestand why hobby shops don't sell rampages with upgraded servos, radios, killswitches, and maybe a 5t muffler for less than the price of a 5B/T. Those are the things that a newby would have issues w/from the start so change them out of the box, charge them less than a HPI, and sell it to them! Then they could stock parts, motor kits, redcat parts, 1/5 bodies, pipes, servos, and a lot of $ making parts for them. These are good trucks. Wait and see, they get more popular every day!
