I am trying to find the difference between a long block engine and the standard engine

Any links to pictures for the difference will be appreciated

The Long Block is only the Crank, Head and Inners...you add the rest such as Flywheel, insulator, carb, clutch, pull start and engine casings etc to complete it..

Don't mistake a Long Block with a Long Rod...

Instead of buying an entire engine you buy just the long block (crank / crank case / bearings / seals/ gaskets piston & head) then transfer all your stuff (fly wheel clutch pull start etc.
