The doorbell rings at 9:30 this morning and the UPS man is standing there with a box!

Here is what was in that box...

cool i've always wanted one too, my parents said i could have one about 15 years ago but they'd run out of stock so i ended up with ford escort cosworth rally car:cool2:

I built it in about 2 1/2 hours taking my time. What a fun build!!

Here it is all painted and stickered up..

I had it out for a few minutes... I forgot how much fun they were! Pretty fast for what it is but, damn is it small!!! (it's sitting on my Pioneer DVD player :lol:It's so tiny)
I am going to leave it stock for awhile...

nicve trip i recon they are cool since ive always had a soft spot for mt,s

now take its top off and post some pic,s and i would mind some up skirt shots

The Lunchbox is a cool truck. I still have my original one from about 1985. It is neat how the rear axle is allowed to pivot to gain momentum to pull the front wheels. Tons of fun for sure. Very simple design, from back in the day. Have fun with that one Trip. Awesome gift !

I'm thinking this thing is hard enough to control, I couldn't imagine it with all that power! Now my son's Stampede, that's a whole different story!

Thats cool bud. Wish I still had all the old tamiya I had years ago. I could retire.
I have a Tamiya Bruiser sitting in the attic, it's never had the plastic cut!

Does yours have the little springs in the axle to keep it from slapping the housing? Like this..

Thanks for all the kind words guys! I love my 'Box even if it's little!

I do not remember that spring in mine. I will have to look tonight when I get home. I don't believe it has one, cause it slams pretty hard, but wheelies every time ! :)
