hey there, looking to get a better radio than stock and ive always used the stock ones.im thinkin 3 channel as im going to get a kill switch also.any and all input will be much appreciated.thanks in advance:D

the FLYSKY gt3B (or something like that) is bad ass. They have the 3C out too now, but that means the 3B is cheaper (like 38 bucks). don't let the cheap price fool you, look around this forum and see all the great things the people have to say about it. I love mine and since you can program more than one truck to the remote, my one remote runs ALL my RCs. The receivers are cheap too :D

sounds good, always ran stocks but want to finally upgrade and think the kill switch is much needed to,thanks for the quick info.

The Flysky is much cheaper than the Futaba... it has a lot of features for the price. It has great range and you can run multiple models... read up on it, it does everything it boasts on the website... it's a bad ass controller no matter what the price :D

I have been using the stock radio, with a killer b.

It works fine, but...to kill the motor the tx needs to shut off.

Not the best set up, but the killer b will work with 2 channel.

The FS is a great radio. It is a great value and has enough features for most people. If you want top of the line look at the Futaba 4PKS. It's an incredible radio. I'm into overkill. LOL

If you have several cars. The cost of the receivers should be taken into consideration. The FS are $7 verses over $100 for some of the others. If you don't have a over conservative wallet go Futaba.

i'm using the new Airtronics MX-V. it's nice, light and only takes 4aa batts. Been using the same set of batts since i got my truck. a month and a half. batt life is excellent. tons of setting. got it for $100 with coupon from amain. nice remote
