Ok so I sold my baja awhile back and well I miss it. So I am (hopefully) getting a new job making more money and will be able to get another. BUT the question is, do I go baja or redcat or cen? Anyone had the opportunity to play with the new RC's or the new cen sc? I have looked at the review of the cen but haven't seen much on the RC's.

5sc ss kit. At least with a baja you have alot more options with aftermarket parts.

I'd look for a used car with some hopups. You can save big bucks. I'd look for a nice HPI Baja. Around $500 is normal.

I say get something that your local hobby shop has parts for. It sucks to break something then heading to the local hobby shop only to find out they don't stock anything from the manufacturer/model of the rig you have. If you don't mind orderring your stuff online then by all means get the one you actually want.

I am looking at getting the Baja 5SC RTR. The SS kit is priced too high IMO, for just over $100 more the RTR kit is ready to go basically.

check your local hobby shop, see what they stock parts for, then find an already hopped up car, save you money and ensures you have parts support going foward.

LHS :) I drive over the road and so I am lucky to have HS's everywhere :) I can also (at least in the past) go straight to DDM and pick up parts.

I hear you there. I have owned the cen and the old redcats. cen could use some money tossed at it, like any rc, to get it right. was sure fun to drive, I will say that. but you need to either spend the money for the belt drive or at least get the alloy gear plate and gears. the new redcat line looks like racers, shaving weight and going sleek.
