My question is what battery pack do I need so it will plug up to my on/off switch? All of the packs I have found that are 6v 5000mah do not have the same style plug as what my stock battery has. I have been searching trying to find what I need but haven't had any luck.

I use venom batteries I cut off a little of the plug and works just fine.plus u can charge off the tamiya lead

I don't mind swapping plugs but I can't find the correct plugs. I've looked at many different plugs and can't find what I'm looking for.

Yeah, if you want to stick with NiMH packs, you're pretty much limited to 6 volts. The 5000 is going to be a tight fit in the radio box if you're running dual servos. A 4200 would fit perfectly, and honestly 4200 is more than enough capacity. Just cycle it a few times and it'll treat you well.

The batteries are actually larger when you go from a from a 4200 to the 5000? Would the 4300 HPI Plazma pack fit? I like that the plug is already matching. Basically I'm trying to improve my steering, Is this a good place to start?

Yeah, the cells are a bit larger on the 5000. The 4300 will fit, as well. A larger pack will improve servo response a little, but it's really the voltage that matters. If you're running servos that can handle over 6 volts, that would be your best bet as far as improving their performance.

Have you tightened down your servo saver? Sometimes they're too loose and make the steering crappy.

Thanks for the help. I'm running 2x Hitech 5765's. I'm looking to improve my turning radius and servo response. Tightening the servo saver will help? I've read what you said on another thread about camber & toe in, I'll try those adjustments today to start.

Tightening the servo saver will help. Sometimes they flex too much under load and you lose some steering power. Adjusting camber and toe will help, as well. You just have to experiment with it.
