Looking for another gasser

So I have a nice Baja SS... great buggy. I am looking for another large scale what do you guys think?

My top choices were / are MCD, FG, Lauterbacher.... I want to go on the higher end this time... those 3 seemed to have really nice stuff. Hurrax seemed pretty good as well.

Ideas?

I understand that I'll most likely have to order my parts and I am cool with that.
As for onroad or offroad? Not sure, the Lauterbachers are onroad and look amazing, and the videos on youtube look cool too.

Quality is one thing.
Fun another.

All have these in spades, generally, or can be 'corrected'.

one main thing is to check availability of spares I would suggest.

I realize I'll need to order parts online, and I tend to build a stock of commonly broken parts at home... I only have 1 LHS about 35 mins away.

Quality and fun can go hand in hand. Quality shoudl equal less breaking, and more fun.
