My standard breaks just arnt cutting it, looking for advice as to what make to look at, also should I get all 4 corners or just front? At the moment the rear layshaft locks and the fronts don't so just skids uncontrollably under heavy breaking, so thinking about hydro all round.

Thoughts and advice pls

Thanks

fitting hydros to just the front will improve your brakes just check your can mount the master cylinder to the carson chassis you will have to drill some holes
i use gfk brake discs 8477 and alloy brake pads 8478 with my cable brakes they need adjusting a lot but once warmed up they lock the front wheels

Il look into those parts, might be good enough for my needs, have you tried cable disks on the back wheel and remove the layshaft breaks?
