Hi there, I'm new around here and I'm looking for large scale 1/6 or 1/5 bodies that look like real street cars as opposed to racing cars.
One of the cars I'm looking for is an Audi A4 2005–2008. I found the FG but it has spoilers and weird wheel arches that would be hard to modify to look like a normal Audi. Does anybody know any A4 bodies that look normal or would be easy to modify? I found BMWS, Alfas and many other European contemporary cars that look normal, but not Audi. An A6 could also do as long as is a sedan/saloon.

The second type of body I'm looking for are European cars from the late 60's to mid 70's.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I've been all over the internet and found a couple of things but nothing that I' looking for.

Thanks a lot!

Yes, thanks!

I had seen that site. It does have a good selection. But no Audi A4 at all.

I'm also trying to find a Cortina or Taunus MK3 but no luck.

I once saw an Opel Rekord in 1/5 but now I can't find it anymore. Any ideas?

I DO like the Commodore 'though.

The Capris look nice.

Someone was talking of making Mk.II Escort rally shells a couple of months ago - THAT would be a big hit.

Think of all of the 2WD FG chassis knocking around, and the Essie 'Scandinavian flick'-style slides - would be great!!

Nearly went for the GT1 shell a while back - Ferrari 458 to you and I - detail is excellent.

Spitfire, you're a REAL artist and modeller.

This is what I love about this Forum - the wealth of diverse talent that suddenly appears.
(Our Greek 'British Sports Car' friend Vass has gone very quiet lately ...... !!!!)

I really like my Ferrari - Mark did a fantastic job on the paint - more superb talent on this Forum, but had I known of the Escort, or indeed ASKED, then .....

Can't wait for someone to get a Rothmans Essie Mk.II up and running!!

Al.

The Ascona is coming along nicely. Any chances of a Taunus Coupe TC1 or Cortina TC1?
