Ok I know similar post have been asked. But it's my turn :) I am looking to get a ls rc soon, nitro don't do it for me any more. I am a otr truck driver so I have limited space to store cars. I do mainly parking lot bashing and some dirt bashing. 2 or 4 wheel drive don't mater, I am looking at the 5b or a fg mt or baja. Whelies are fun but I just want a reliable and fast car.
 
Here is a list to look at here on the forum for a 1st time buyer:
I have left out the Firehammer and Firehammer buggy.

Ebay Pricing from search:

HPI Baja 5B - About 900.00 w/ 50.00 rebate = 850.00 needs radio, throttle servo, steering servo upgrade, rear diff upgrade, plus has no pipe and parts are 1st version eg. shocks. 23cc motor.

HPI Baja SS - 820.00 w/ 50.00 rebate = 760.00 needs radio and servos. has 26cc motor upgrades that 5B needs plus sorta has a pipe. 2nd version parts.

HPI Baja 5T truck - 1,300.00 w/ 100.00 rebate - 1200.00 Don't know what it has but believe it is a SS with sheeps clothing making it a truck.

KM Baja - About 470.00 and needs upgrades that the 5B need + more. (See the post here on it.)

Rampage MT - About 700 plus from what you will read here needs about 100.
Buggy - 660.00 and the same as above.

A bit more money:

FG, MCD and other lines.
These will run you about 1000-1500 for a base model and go up from there.

I'm just shooting out ideas and really picking one is a personal thing.:blush: I picked the ones that would be easy for you to get parts for on the road.

I forgot about the rampage, I can go to AZ and get the rampage direct from Rob. and I would most likely try to do the same for any other that I buy, the clone ... nah I'd rather have the real deal :) What ever I get I will also get normal breakage replacement parts so I can brake and fix quickly :)
