Loose plug

I have the MT finally got it started,but is it normal for the spark plug to be real loose while installing it does seem to tighten up also noticed some gas on top of the head around spark plug hole after running it. the plug feels real "sloppy" going in. thanks for any help only had the truck for week 1/2

Sloppy is ok as long as it tightens fully.
If in doubt, check the threads on both the spark plug and the spark plug hole.

it moves about 1/6 or so inch +- back and forth when installing just hoping threads are not getting stripped in the head, it tightens but doesn't fell real secure
