Probably won't get one till next year but bartalone has a pipe designed and taking pre orders. Price was 245 dollars. Apparently you have to order from MOD, or others who sell his stuff
Yeah I just landed a new job with a obnoxious pay increase so I might just go in and get both a 2.0 clone and the 3.0. my hobby area got toasted in a basement flood, again, after the 3rd foundation and basement leak repair so I don't know when. Soon though.

My current hobby space looks like something out of hoarders.

I ended up getting one yesterday. Local shop had the gas version and decided to try it out.

It is a large truck but looks good.
An honest impression if you've got experience with the 2.0 would be great. Most of what I've seen are guys who have never owned 1/5 scale out side of some traxxas thing and all they do is female dog it doesn't do 150mph out of the box.

Hey XJman. I have only owned one previous 5th scale car and that was an FG Beetle. Sorry I cannot compare this to the 2.0 version.

I can take pictures if that would help?

You've owned a real 5th scale so thats good enough! I'm more curious about its comparison as a 1/5 scale chassis and not as a supersized 1/10 scale that goes really fast but doesn't handle specifically well.

The reason I picked it up was because it is supposed to be an improvement over the 2.0 version. I can say that everything looks real solid, especially the shocks. The extra plate that is mounted to the chassis meant to help with rigidity and motor vibration.

I attached some pics. Let me know if you want specific shots of areas.

Once you get some time blasting on it let me know how you think it drives. I'm not interested in the feel of a supersized 1/10 scale like the maxx

My impression is that the gas version should hold up just fine. Since Losi released an electric version first, I read that they had to make everything more durable since the torque on brushless is crazy.

Since the Zenoah is only 35cc, I would think this would handle like your typical underpowered gas RC. I will run it in a few weeks. Work comes first!

Anyone make a pipe for it yet. I can't believe that that stock box on the exhaust side of things would be helping.
It looks like the stock one off the 32cc.
