Hi,

I may be buying a CY 26cc pulled out of a Losi 5T To fit into my Marder would I have to dremel away some of the clutch housing so the engine mounts would fit?

Is that the only modding required?

take the existing one off your fg or you can just buy the fg zen clutch case, they go on ebay, just look out for the cut out where the large engine mount goes.
you shouldnt have to change anything else

The clutch housing on my marder was modded too so I decided to mod the CY housing as in Dwarfys build thread, taking 5mm of the surface...worked a treat.

My marder has been totally stripped and rebuilt now with new: diff, diff carriers, engine mounts, stainless screws throughout and the new 26cc engine of course....just need to save for pipe now but at least its ready for MSUK weekender.

I received a package today and thankfully it contained some front axle mounts not heart shaped confetti....so cheers hyper LOL.

Much appreciated and it emphasises what a cool hobby were into/cursed with,,,,your a gent. TA
