My local store has both in stock(surprisingly v1 is also new) so I am debating which one to get. Ordinarily, I would go for the newer version assuming that new model is better 
But I am actually considering gettin v1 because:
- I love the body color of v1
- v1 version is about $150 cheaper
But my research from this forum shows that v1 has some issues:
- driveshaft pin breaking occurs often with heavy jumps
- v2 has different diffs which allows shims to be added, from which I assume that v1 has diff wear problems?
I would really appreciate it if v1 users can give feedback on the two issues listed above.
