As a few of you know I sold my savage a while ago and purchased a losi mtxl. Well I upgraded the hell out of it and wanted to try out a baja. Well an awesome deal came along and I couldn't pass it up. The guy was just looking for a roller mtxl, and Had a highly upgraded hpi baja 5sc for sale with 2 bodies, and an ass load of extra parts. So we made a trade. I'll likely put my obr 34cc full mod in it, in place of the g290. But we will see . Anyone have some ideas to toss around for parts or what I should do?

First 2 pics is of my losi that I built, rest of the pics are of the baja just a couple parts it already has. It also came with brand new vekta tires and wheels along with 3 full sets of wheels and tires. Also came with a bag full of stock/ aftermarket parts

Anyways on to pics:

Nice rig. Looks like someone spent as much time cleaning it as running it lol. My rig hasnt been that clean since i bought it

Yea the guy definitely took good care of it. I washed mine after every ride with dimple green and water. Always came out very clean

That looks very nice. Maybe try out a 2 or 3 gear system for poop and giggles and to get more bandwith for your monster engine. I don't know how good the ones on the market is tho

2 and 3 speeds seem to be a 50/50 whether they work or don't lol. I may upgrade the chassis to a scorpion chassis ot something stronger.

50/50 huh? Well with those odds I would be all over it. Like, completely over it. I have seen a few different ones on youtube and they seemed to smooth acceleration out. But if this was a mindtrick because you can hear the change in pitch as it shifts or not, is hard to say without being the driver. Videos are deceptive. Another chassis for driving in sand I honestly don't see the point unless you just want an excuse to buy something fancy. We are all addicts here, you can tell it like it is. You want a fancy thing for your toy lol.

Some inspiration. Check out Botajells new King Motor Dragster. What a freaking beast. I love those BRP wheels.

I'm not a huge fan of those wheels, they are ok looking but not my favorite. It's a nice rig though he has.

They are rc4wd super swamper tires on factory mtxl wheels dyed black.
Hi mate can you tell me exactly how you got the rc4wd super swampers to fit on your losi mtxl rims ? I want to do the same as well. Does it hold up fine or does it come off. How did you make the foam inserts work and how did you know where to cut the rubber tyre? Most of all how did you mount it on with the bead locks.
