I think this will be cool if they really start to sell well or be raced. I can see some of the major engine makers developing high end motors for these trucks Rb and Novarossi.

until race organizations start making classes for them you wont see good upgrade engines. as was discussed in one artical i read, the biggest thing in the 1/8 gas stuff is variance. right off the bat you have 2 major players with 2 very different trucks in the same catagory. you have a big 15cc (roughly .91ci) and a .31, how do you built a race class when those are the options. it'll be interesting in the coming couple years, if these trucks work well there will be a market flooded with gas stuff and its going to come down to what becomes more common, big or little engines. once there is some common ground and standardization, aftermarket engines will start popping up. the problem with everyone doing different stuff is if somebody makes a replacement engine it only fits one truck, or 1 manufacturors vehicles.

The HPI looks like the motor does not fit up high big head to me like a after thought
