I put my cpi pipe on today and my mt hauls a@#. Def a big difference in power. Thanks for the info from some of u guys on here. Now what to do with the intake, any suggestions? Verry happy with the pipe.

You won't see a performance gain, but the plastic ones can crack and or warp with time. The aluminum ones come with silicon gaskets that act as a insulator keeping engine heat away from the intake and carb.

should keep a close eye on the base gasket caveman, the more you pump up the engine the base gasket is a weak point on a 2 bolt. I tried lots of types of gaskets, only set up that worked for me was a softened copper gasket with a very thin film of permatex ultra copper sealant on both sides. Gaskets that compress are rough on the top end on a 2 bolt engine.

I like the metal gaskets myself charlie, they seem to hold up pretty well. See how long yours holds up and when/if it does fail, order one from DDM...

:D

You'll also need a stack to mount an aftermarket filter like I have on my TT... I went with the TGN setup...

Alright will keep an eye on the gaskets and looking forward to making it breath better. And you and I will have to do at least one day a week to get together and look over the toys. And to let you guys know my wife likes that I have my mt to hop up instead of my tahoe hehehe.

Im glad you like it. Thats one of the pipes I would like to get to see if it matches the power of the ddm pipe and jetpro. I myself haven't ran the stock pipe at all so I know anything modded over stock would open anyone's eyes. I wish you were closer so we could run together.
