Just picked these up because by stock v1 plastic ones finally gave up with DDM springs. Does anyone have any experience with them? I used 2 screwdrivers to spread the lower a-arm and still cant get it open enough to get the ball joint in. Would they be specific for a newer version lower arm that has a wider opening? In the description it just said 5t..oh well next steps belt sander, dremil and or heat😬

Hm I'm going to say fitment is going to depend on how old the arms are and how long they've been together with holding a shock eye. The screw holding the shock eye in the arm could have pinched the opening closed a bit causing a tighter tolerance. I've come across some arms where the eyelet will slide right in and some that I have to give a bit of a push. You can make a wedge that fits in the slot then use a heat gun to help soften the arm to expand it a bit. If you have a set of calipers what's the width of the old eyelet ball vs the new flm ones?

Rough on equipment are we.
Whats that adjustable wrench , does that have a thinner set of jaws for lack of a better term.

It's been a while since I have been on the truck to see what is new , usually costs me money when I climb aboard.
