Hi all,
Apologies for another newbie question.
So I have a new fg challenge line 2wd, as standard the car comes without grease or rubber boots for the driveshaft joints, this is something I want to fix in the near future but I would like to run the car in before that happens, am I ok to run it as it is until then? Also is there any other components I will need to lube before it’s first run? Diff and pinion gear for example? Everything Is dry at the moment and just want to make sure it’s right before it goes on it’s first run.
thanks. Ash

Most important things to do is blue loc-tite every nut and bolt before first run.
Im going to assume you have a engine killswith. If not purchase one, accident happen out of the blue.
Thanks for this info, can I assume nothing will be loctited from new? If so I will put it on my to do list. Unfortunately not fitted with a kill switch at present but I think I need to upgrade my transmitter before I can fit one as its very basic. I will make it a priority though👍 Thanks again

Yes go thru the car with loc-tite, they all seem to need it regardless of brand. Some even warn to check your vehicle before using. Be sure to get that kill switch also,a run away is never a good or safe thing to have. To much potential for injury or property damage, besides vehicle damage. Be safe and enjoy.👍
