Well the grave digger taylor 50 combo running like a bear as expected. While being properly exercised yesterday afternoon it got hungry........... Ate a transmission shaft this time. This was a stock v4 primal that has outlasted any taylor shaft. Truck will snap titanium ones like a piece of spaghetti, at least 2 taylor hardened ones. Going to try another hardened taylor because don't have anything else in my stock. Been awhile since this last happened and l can pull transmission in about 45 minutes with all the practice I've gotten!!!! I do have a taylor titanium in for the longer shaft and it has been in for second year now so they seem OK. I have cut down to a 30-32 to 1 oil fuel mix for all my trucks and the have all picked up on power . After watching a lot of videos and Jeff at Eastside rc l have to agree with the theory behind this. 25-1 was old school non synthetic oil and with the modern synthetic olive oil available today it's not an issue. Most modern synthetic oils start at 32-1 for ratio recommendations......enough of my yip yapping, got a transmission to assemble!!!
