Did this on my MGT 8.0 body a week ago, and am very amazed with the results. I used the mesh drywall tape and shoe goo, then almost a whole can of flex seal. Patience is key, don't try to rush it. Specially if you want it to look good. My brand new MT showed up yesterday, so between setting up and breaking in the truck. I did the same to the MT body. With the large, basically flat, panels on the MT body, I was able to use plenty of the mesh tape to create a weave and over a can of flex seal. As well, masking off the window areas.
Great tip here if you want your body to last. It wont protect it from scratches, but will definitely be much more durable to cracks and tearing. Thanks for the tips guys.

Be careful with the Flexseal. If you get too close, it will melt your body.
