Stock servos are waterproofed
I don't have any stock servos they have all been switched out . I know the 645 isn't ive already killed one by going thru water. I am doing this cause live in Western N.Y. near Buffalo and winter is coming fast and if I want to run it in snow it should work out fine with out killing the electronics

Waiting for completed pixs
if look at pics my on off switch is in balloon and my receiver and thr/brk servo is too . not sure but I have been thru water and have never had the steering servos glitch so the maybe splash proof they are the ones everyone recommends for steering . on the servo if you put grease on screws slide them into slots on servo mount it will tighten down without grabbing the balloon and putting hole in it. the on /off switch I put silicone between the switch and the battery box on the balloon and the plate that says on or off so it would seal it up preventing any water from getting into the switch because screws have to go through balloon to hold switch together . I had problems with water with the 645 servo and the on/off switch which caused a lot glitching and eventually ruining the servo so by doing this I know I will not have a water issue with electronics I use 19 inch and 20 inch balloons and for on/off switch i cut the balloon at the neck and use the neck part of it to slide over the switch and zip tie both ends and it works great

Do put servo arm over the balloon, without cutting???
after you get balloon on servo then take horn screw and screw in to servo shaft will make a small hole then pull balloon down over shaft( shown in pics) its a good idea to put a little grease around the shaft before put horn on. you could just put horn over top of balloon it works that way too but when ya screw horn down it will cause a hole thru balloon into end of shaft anyways View attachment 7528View attachment 7529servo 001.webp

also its a good idea to cut very end off balloon that looks like rubber band where you blow balloon up it makes it easier to zip tie down and keep tight so no water gets in. another thing you can do is put silicone in end of balloon then zip tie it that way it will even make a better seal I didn't do this on my mt but have done it on a savage nitro truck years ago and ran it all winter with no issues another thing is wires that run into battery box thru gap .silicone in gap then lay down servo wire into box then put more silicone on top of first wire and lay down next wire keep doing this sequence until all wires are leading into box thru gap this will seal around the wires and gap that they are running thru then when done take silicone and put on top edge of battery box and around edge of cover and screw down it should seal right up .wipe off any excess silicone

curious any one use the TT body as a sort of inner shell to help keep electronics cleaner / dryer?
