what engine and pipe do you have? also sometimes depends what surface you run on, 20/44 should make hardly any difference on low end on tarmac but in grass it will lose a slight bit of bottom, if you have a good pipe or engine then you will push straight through.

ive got a fg pipe for not (getting jetpro very soon) and a stock 26cc as i blew up my 29cc going to save and go oddified eventually :D the misses has been warned :)

Yeah 20/44 will be fine. I was even thinking of going to 22/42 as the 14T layshaft gear drops it down a gearing compared to the 16T on the 2wd's.
also you have a ported head and a tuned pipe too mate, i didnt know if he had a stock engine and stock pipe you see .

haha you can tell im new i thourt the jetpro ones were the best :) oh dear i have so much to learn
they are definatly not the best pipe, they are good for some things like top speed fast stuff, the highest speed fg marders and bajas use them, these guys with a tuned engine are almost at 100mph now. you wont get that on a stock engine tho' ,with a jetpro on a stock engine youd be lucky to get 75mph with correct gearing.
jetpros are cheaper then some other makes, £130 new, you can spend 2 or 3 times that although i wouldnt for my marder.i run with two guys both have stock engines, one has a cheapo jetpro £50 clone, the other a fg samba !120ish(i think) they just sit side by side when messing around on a field , we just bash, we don't mind having average pipes and engines but if you want more then average, a jetpro is ok, but not the best and also alot of time youd probably be getting annoyed with the bloody front wheels in the air ,not being able to steer!
the trouble with the fg marder jetpro is they have good power overall, but once you start using taller ratios for eg, 50 mph and over , they become abit weak on the bottom end and take abit of time to come on the pipe, gearing upto 50ish,no problem.

on a 4wd buggy,not a good pipe.get something with more torque then a jetpro

ive never had a 4wd marder mate, i couldnt tell you. i have a light weight 2wd fg and the fg marder jetpro unsilenced is an animal for the stuff i do .
ive seen loads of pipes for the fg marder and they all the good ones give good power upgrade , i was well impressed wth the fg dominator pipe on my mates stock 27cc cy engine also they do a torque version which would be great for a 4wd car but you'd definatly be better getting advice off someone that has a 4wd and has tried different pipes especially some of the new developed bashing pipes on the market ,they are relatively expensive so you'd probably want to get it right the first time.

have a look on youtube , loads of marders with different pipes , then you can get an IDEA of what sort of performance they are kicking out and also very important, scan through different forums and ask the same questions too as you will get different answers and different people that use different pipes.

regarding the oddi engines a few guys have them on here so could advise you but like i always say there are plenty of great powerful engines out there so take your time, i usually look into stuff for at least a few weeks/ months before i buy my engines or pipes now as i made a few mistakes in the past rushing into stuff that others said was 'the best' to find there was better stuff that suited my needs after.
goodluck
