Well since I hacked my Marder Beetle body in the rear to fit my DDM Top End pipe it broke. Since I'm either getting a new pipe or moddin my pipe to to fit better I going to buy a new Marder Beetle body. So this is what i did with my current body. Hey my MT needed a Body anyways.

I think it looks better on here. Yeah that's the motor that I couldn't get started after the Big Bore kit. I think I fixed it thought. Just haven't tried to crank it yet.
 
Well got the motor (different motor other one still won't crank) pipe and everything mounted. My JR Matchbox came in got that all in. Just gotta rework my linkage and hopefully tomorrow ill have a bash session with some of my peoples.

Took it out today. running for 5 minutes one of steering rod bolts comes off. Look for it for about 30 minutes. Go back home to put it back on added a lil thread lock. Go back out battery dies.

Tomorrow is round 2 and i wont be alone. A 5T, 2 Firehammer MTs, and a Marder. Ill try to get some vids.
 
Didn't run long to really say and I was at a baseball diamond. This is only the second time running the MT. First time was on black top with the FG tires, so I can't really compare.
 
Well I'm out at the diamond again. Was running fine. Now it wants to bog on top end. With all the tools I brought not on flat head screw driver. Its bad enough I suck at tuning but trying it with a make shift flat head isn't workin. Hopefully my boy comes thru and brings a screw driver.
 
Got it all tuned up and had a blast. I love the Redcat tires. Got a low grade cell phone vid that I will try to post.

Short cause my tx battery died. Charged it real quick and went back out jumped the pitchers mound @ full speed and forgot to let off before it landed and I think the layshaft gear came loose. I hope its that. will find out tomorrow for sure. don't feel like looking now.

well i went to inspect the rig because yesterday i would hit the gas and the tires would spin but once i put it down it would like loose have the power to the wheels. I thought it was the layshaft gear or the diff. But while taking the wheels off I noticed that one of the ramtech adapters came loose. I looked at every thing else and it seems fine, so i guess thats what the culprit was.
 
I was wrong. Tried it and still the same problem. Took it all apart and the diff housing was broke. So i guess i wont be running it this weekend.:crying::crying::crying: Time to put in a order with DDM.
