hi

bought a marder a week or two ago only had it out once cos the weather
buts it awsome  apart from the brakes!!!
so bought dual front discs for it but after fitting them the wheels wont fit the calipers hit the spokes what am i missing or needing?

thanks

You are not missing any thing....you just need different rims....some rims will
not work with disk brakes.....My old rims I shaved the rims on the inside ..were the spokes were.....But I went to a different rim & tire set up later on..to use disk brakes
...as per now I have taken the brakes off my car....I don't use brakes any more...
too much dragging...Just learned to drive differt with no brakes....Slawhammer

you can add wider wheel squares or maybe you bought the mt brakes as the part that holds the cable is longer to clear the fat mt arms. I have the buggy brakes on the front of my semi with short wheel squares and it fits without rubbing and the semi rims are marder buggy rims. if that's the case, just add the widest wheel squares. it's better anyway as it gives a wider stance for stability

just a thought. you might be able to adjust the nuts that hold the calipers. I remember one set rubbing when I had the adjustment too loose and the nuts rubbed. just need enough slack for the disc to spin. at worst put a washer behind the wheel square to move it out
