Thinking about a change already changed fro nitro to petrol as was loosing interest in fiddly nitros.. Owned my marder for about 2mths now , since owning it have put new engine in it 26cc race tuned engine, that has uprated head and piston, upgraded woodworth key..RC TW race pipe and race filter..fitted new set of bearings throughout,i have run about 2 tanks of fuel car is awesome fast , but i feel lacks abit of character ,i thinking about a fg or fs monster truck what you guys think i don't race just bash with mates. want something that has character can be used anywhere and is fun and looks like a scale model if that makes sense , well here it is ideally i would swap for a mt with cash if needed..haven't actually put any pics on here of it yet so here few..

or can you convince me otherwise??
 
hi mate it makes perfect sense i felt the same when i had a marder but instead of getting rid of the marder why don't you convert it in to a marder beetle best of both worlds as youve already spent a small fortune on the marder there is a conversionkit avalible which has every thing you need to turn it in to the beetle plus at the pitstopshop.nl they sell it its about 160/170 plus postage have a look at mine and see what you think now when i take mine out its like a magnet everyone has to look at it plus as others on here will tell you there mega strong shells and will last ages plus i think its the cheapest option

Made my mind up , going to buy a mt as well ,, what are the fs mcd clones like ?? Watched videos on YouTube seem to go very well , not sure about spares will genuine mcd parts fit??
 
Right if I buy mt wheels will they go straight on without fouling the arms/hubs etc? Will a mt shell fit??? Liking the beetle minus arches look thought but though a mt will look different...

Yes the MT wheels will bolt right on w/o and modification. MT shell will fit also, but you will need the correct front body mounts though.
