I will be building it down here!! Will give me something to do on boring evenings then I can get straight out with it when its done :D

yeah be great to see you,and this moter....be good to see a 4x4 fg an 4x4 mcd go together....i originally wanted a fg 4x4 truck but could only find kamitro kit as fg wearnt making 4x4 then....so i bought my mcd....we will have a good bash.

cool i cant wait to see it and compare handling lets hope the grounds nice and wet when you come down get it sliding around and ripping up the green stuff

Yeah wet & slippery will be a good test for it. Will have my 1:1 car back at end of next week so wont matter what state it gets in! Had a call from garage today saying it was complete failure of the main bearing so was lucky it still in warranty by 2wks. Hopefully gearbox no 3 will be better than the 1st 2

you cant grumble mate its the miles you do thats a killer,i bet your counting the hours till you get your 4wd conversion,i know i am ive got a box full of oddie goodies somewhere between his house and mine moving closer as we speak i cant wait ive got both cars ready for there new engines clean and both rebuilt ive got a bit of wiring to do for ecu leads and kill switches, car should both be running tommorrow with big hp over 12hp between them and i cant wait to nail the fcuk out of them both

im thinking of turning into a drift female dog lock up the diff tape round the rear tyres and fit a heading hold gyro to steering servo to help with oversteer plus it could be fun and less space needed

Heading hold gyro???? What's one of the them???? Never heard of them, wish I did, I wouldn't have sold my fg m3 :(:(

its just a gyro from any heli i had one on my old nitro and you could just drift it round your feet easy but with 2wd its a bit more tricky i think but its going to be fun trying plus real drift cars are rwd and have way to much power so lower the gearing a bit lock the diff and try to keep it spinning up,ive seen a few vids on youtube where they have like plastic rings around tyres but i was just going to use a real shagged out set with gaffa tape round them

The 4wd kit is now in my posession so the build & pics will start on Monday :D Spoke to Stevo about a rebuild for my spare zen 23 whilst I was there and he said he could def do something with it which would complement the 4wd very well.........got me thinking then about just keeping the 4wd, selling the rest & making an awesome beast of a bug with a Stevo engine.......kinda like Ren has done with his Oddie bug!!

Taking it down to the van to build up to pass the evenings but will have to be done by Wed night cos missus & kids down Fri so will have to be sorted :p Might not have time to sort the mounting for the bug shell (changing roll cage over) but have a battered marder shell I can cut up (needs hacking for 4wd) & use till then but it WILL be running :D
