hi theres quite a few bits that are different it has adjustable front wishbones wider offset wheels shocks are the adjustable ones plus it has ball drive dogbones its probaly got more but there the best bits and would cost a fair bit on there own

Also front bumper, lexan gear cover, steel 18T & alloy brake caliper with bigger brake disc. Might be a few other bits to add.........

If your going into the buggy side get the Leopard race, much better than a Marder.

Yh im going to stick with my monster truck for a bit. i was just wondering why is the price so traumatic on the race and rtr....:clover::clover: hopefully my next Rc is going to be the Leopard race... next one to try out :osama::osama::osama:

I watched the carson super attack vid from the max bashing review & was very tempted before I bought my marder. Marder has been bullet proof so far......

Just been checking over my marder and it had most of this stuff on when I bought it. Thought it sounded familiar!! Not sure whether it is a genuine 'race' or not tho. Off the list on the link, what exactly are track widening rims, not sure whether I got adjustable king pin angle, and not sure on the FG ball drives? Anyone tell me exactly what these are??!!!! :D:D

the rims on the inside they stick out were the square is and theres a metal ring round the square much better design the fg ball drives have got little ball bearings in each end and little drive shaft rubber gaitors just like a real car the king pin angle im lost do you mean the front wishbones ie are the top and bottom ones the same of have you got different top and bottom front arms if there the same then no adjustmen if different then you can get a bit of adjustment

I got the metal ring on the rims. Not got the ball drives & at closer inspection on the FG website, the king pin adjustment that they talk about is more like the after market ally top wishbone but in plastic on the race model. Could it be an older version of the 'race' or is it more likely that these parts have been added? Seems odd that all these parts would have been added to it but there is no ally to be seen????

on standard models marder and marder race the only bit that came in alloy i think are the chassis the litte triange piece at the front and the little bit that keeps the diff and engine mount linked other than that its all plastic but half the weight mine all alloy know weighs a ton and it will not wheelie even with vrc pipe ddm 29cc/zenoah carb ect but my mates all plastic one is undrivable wheelies on demand mental but then mine turns and handles much better and is super tuff

yeah my mate's is all alloy with a 29cc & samba & my standard 26cc plastic 1 is every bit as quick :cool2::cool2: I not broke anything in 12mth apart from bending chassis that bad I put a straight edge down it & it was 25mm out :crying: straightened it to within 3mm easy enough tho :celebrate:
