Hi guys, new to the FG scene and new to the forum.
Just picked up a used Marder and looking forward to bashing and fiddling.
Not sure if this is normal or I need to adjust something.

When I put the wheels on either full lock they turn fine BUT there is extra travel as the steering rods rotate. This allows the wheel on 1 side to turn in further. It only happens at the end of the servo range.

Any ideas?

Thats called "Ackermann" mate,Its meant to do that. There is nothing wrong with it.

Not sure it is the Ackermann effect. Its the movement at the end of travel im concerned about. The wheels should move together yet at the end of travel they fold in as the steering rod locks.

Ive uploaded a video showing the problem

is this an end if travel radio adjustment thats needed?

Great. Ive got end point adjustment on my TX so will drop the % down to restrict the travel to just before this point.
