Yall over there and in Europe have some of the nice tracks I have seen. Only place I have see tracks with carpet on them which is all most hard to call off road but I like it as it keeps your vehicle much cleaner particularly if it is wet. All so does not change the jumps or track from heat to heat. Been to tracks here many times you have to change the way you drive as the day goes on do to the track changing so much being dirt.

I would be much happier if large scale was more popular here in the states. The closes off road large scale track is 300 to 400 miles away and if it was not for my situation I would try and make at least once a mouth. When things where better for me I traveled as far as 600 miles one way to race off road.

I have never been a big ran of oval racing but being there are not any large scale off road tracks near me I am going to give it a try tomorrow at a dirt oval that is about 60 miles from me as I MISS RACING!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I do not get back to racing I might just give up the hobby as I enjoy it MUCH more then bashing!

Hope someone post videos of this event!!!!!! Some one buy me a ticket, put me up and I will come over to race!:lol::lol:

I'll pay for your race fees, put you up, you can use my spare car but you pay you're own air fair and transfers.

You say most of the track in Europe are carpet, I assume you mean astro turf. It does change a hell of a lot especially if you've got rain or Nitro cars running on them. The ground it's laid on isn't flat and the added jumps make it even more tricky. The equestrian halls we use in Holland and the one we're looking at in the UK is compacted sand, rubber chippings and horse 5hite/pi55.

Ok Guy,
This meeting will be held on the 17th, 18th & 19th of Feb 2012 and is aimed at bringing basher and racer closer together to swap hints, tips and set ups.

The cost of £45 will include camping and electric hook up.
We're looking for 80 2wd cars, 20 4wd cars and 20 outlaws which are anything that don't conform to the 2wd & 4wd rules - MT's Losi5t and alike.

Each class will have 2 rounds of practice, 2 rounds of timed practice to sort out the seeding, there will be between 3 and 6 rounds of qualifying - then the finals. 1 to 10 from the A finals will win trophies and everyone will get a commemorative t/shirt or mug.

There will be a BAR!!!!! :cup-1: and a restauraunt :cup-1: along with some dealers (rc parts & cars type) and loads of off road bashers and racers from across Europe.

I'll post the registration details when we have sorted them out but if you like the idea then please put your name down on here to let us know who is interested.

Interest is growing rapidly for this event. Over 50 European drivers have already said they're coming - thats 2wd, 4wd & bashers.

We'd really like to see some UK bashers registering for this event and taking part of what is the first indoor largescale meeting.

We think we can just squeeze 130 across the classes - it's going to be big - especially for an indoor meeting to say nothing of the fact that it's the first one over here.

mike sweet thats only 45 mins away from me and wagon whats it cost just to enter and not for camping i think even if we don't enter then we may just come and watch
