I had a similar 1 into a rock at Deeside :( I have pics in an album called runaway!! Chassis was bent across the middle the same as your mates and the kick up at the front was errrmmm......well kicked up!! Add to that sheared bolts & a broken front upright I reckon I did ok! Straightened the chassis out absolutely bang on so it like new again  He should be able to do the same but if you need any help let me know.

He may want to get another type of filter too, that thing looks dirty for that type of filter. Hope craps not getting in.

Foxys mate/ mishap man!!

Hi all, yes it's me simo with a written off marder! Which I've jus bought a new chassis for an waiting delivery now! Managed too straighten my alloy servo tray, jus need bulkhead brackets and servo switch and small engine mount now, then hopefully ready too roll again! How can I clean my filter? And with what? Or what replacement shud I get? Any tips help greatly appreciated. Thanks simo.

I personally would go back to the stock one with a TGN redneck over it or use the HPI Baja one.. They are a foam type and not paper. The one you are using is IMO more an on road non dust filter.

You will be able to straighten your chassis & use it as a spare. I got mine bang on from a similar state.
Liking the shell design :cool2:
