hi all i have a maverick blackout v2. just finally run my 2nd tank of fuel at 1/2 throttle.

on my 3rd tank now and using full throttle, well..... after about 2-3 mins engine cuts out.

start it up again 1-2 mins later engine looses power and slows down ( like been choked) soon as i let go of throttle it stalls.

starting feels like the choke is on, once fired up and you let go of throttle it stalls.

any advice please :o

Thanks for the replies. When you say vent the cap,is it just a case of unscrew the cap let air out and put it back on?

I used to have a different petrol car and that had a tiny hole in the cap and this one doesn't.

If the venting works which im sure it will,is there anything i can do to prevent the problem in the future?

Thanks again

The hole is to small make it bigger the fuel tank needs air to enter. There is a few different ways to vent the tank I'm unable to post pics ATM but I'm sure someone will post a pic.

here is the way i did mine

Hi guys I vented the tank with a pit bike breather. A little bit of tube with a blue ionised cap with a hole in it. Worked at treat. Thanks everyone for you advice.
