Just wanted to give everyone a heads up- For 2009, the No Limit R/C world finals will have large scale racing!!!!! We're constructing a whole new large scale offroad track and will be running 5B's 5T's and 4x4 monster trucks!!
More details will be coming, but this will be an awesome time.
May 22nd-May 24th in Poplar Branch, NC at Digger's Dungeon monster truck race shop.

I wish I was going to be here for that diggers is only two hours away from me. But I iwll be in Iraq again for the fourth time.

sorry you cant make it paharleyman. As a fellow military guy, i feel your pain and thank you for your service.

in Iraq

Hey bud please don't thank me for doing what I am doing it is my pleasure. I couldn't think of doing anything else.

hopefully you know alot of people in in 5th scale do know anyone who has a 5b ss tuned pipe I have been looking for a used one and I only need the manifold part could you please ask around

Gentleman, FEAST YOUR EYES ON THIS!!!!! As some of you know, NLRC Director of operations, Bari is a graphic designer and did an AMAZING job designing the graphics and wrapping the NLRCFL trailer in preparation for the 4 florida monster jams that they are performing at. Notice the left side has a Savage X4.6 and a Savage XL 5.9. The back has a Baja 5T and the right side has A Savage FLUX and Wheely king. This trailer will be hauling all the equipment to the world finals.

large scale rules will be very simple:
all classes will be basically, "run what you brung".
The 4x4 monster truck rules will be wheelbases over 17" (6th scale and bigger) and we're not decided on the tire size yet. We're promoting bigger classes and fun over a ton of rules.

Looking forward to this event ! One question I did have is :

Is a 5b with a proline truck body conversion running in the B class or can it be ran in the T class ?

What tires are you running? You can run 5B and then convert to a T and run both classes with the same rig.
Most of the rules (yet to be posted) will be based on tire size for the large scalers.

The new site is up: HERE and registration is OPEN.
John Schultz from HPI is tweakign the rules, but they will be pretty basic (much simpler than the NATS rules were) Dennis wants mass participation and we don't want to get wrapped up in a TON of rules.

speaking of dennis and Gravedigger... check out his invitation video on our home page- www.nolimitrc.com
registaration has been open 4 days and were over 50 entries for the event -MTs and large scale
UPDATE 80+ entries so far, mostly MT's

We need some more large scale buggies and MT's. 19 5B's 11 5T's and 170 monster trucks so far.

Tire rules for large scale monster trucks will be: "-Any 1/5 to 1/6 scale Monster Truck Tire and Wheel Combination (No Buggy Tires) Tires are to be at least 190cm x 70 or 7.4" tall x 2.75" wide."
