mcd-fsracing compatibility

Does any one know if the alloy gear plate of MCD rally evo II is the same with the alloy gear plate of fs racing buggy? I' m asking because the original mcd plate is very expensive!! It seem that is made from gold....:w00t:

Unless you're running huge power, use the stock MCD plastic plate. The Vertigo plate is also quite nice and less expensive. I'm 90% certain that the FS will fit, however their plastic is a good bit softer (and I imagine it would flex more at a key structural point).
