I am looking into MCD gears for more tooth options and from what I understand they fit the blocks we use. Is this true and has anyone had /have experience with MCD gears on their rampages.

Thanks for the info on this...Do you have a suggested tooth for the steel gears? I need to be close to the 33/27.

Either one would be OK. I was running the MT gears at a 35/25 but was just a tad too high on the bottom end and could use more grunt but doable with what I have ...

Back when the Rampages came with plastic gears, most of us would change to plastic MCD gears and either vent the gear cover or remove it and the MCDs would last a long time

This is why I decided to look into a higher quality steel gear. I had read the long thread that was started in 08 or 09 about other options that fit so I just wanted to make sure its still the same mounting setup.
