Mcd Layshaft

THINKING on trying the mcd lay shaft the measerments are 4.53 long 8x9x10.the bearing sizes are the same.the brake size is differnt but that be an easy fix.wen i get home tonight ill measer the lenth.the gear on the end is one tooth more .just shim the ring gear to make up gear size difference.mite be worth it.

Mcd layshaft fits perfect, other then the bearing change. I used to have one installed on my TT but it snaped like a twig when the metal gears failed. But other then that it is a way better choice, I will do it again as soon as I get to the city to replace it. I've bent two and broke one redcat layshaft as well.

IT,S TO LONG the redcat is 3/4 mcd 4.5

Sorry i thought you were talking about the B/C (middle shaft) My bad....

Pinion ratio and helical shape of the teeth are not the same, it will not fit.
