guys,

not posted on here for a few moons as i have a baja 5bss. i have seen pics of the new wider mcd mt and i really like it. my question is shall i buy the mt or baja 1000? also where can i get the mcd adaptors so i can add the baja paddles?

Well this is what I did, I bought a Baja 1000, and now I bought all the stuff I need to convert my Baja to MT. THe adaptors can be bought from RamTech apparently. Innovative preps the rims so you can run MT tires on a Baja without changing the outer axles. I ran mine for a bit with the MT tires on it , it is not as agile or fast, I like my Baja 1000.

As for adapters personally I think I would run FG ST tires if I wanted to run anything else.
 
well your gear ratios should be changed around to except the bigger tire diameter aswell on the MT ,really it should have more top end speed i cant say if its noticable enough from your eyes too tell the difference TBH ..
 
thanks guys, i have always been a fan of mt's and i have a baja ss already i just feel like a change but i wouldn't want an mt if its slow and clumsy? the main reason i want an mt is because the rampage is out now and it is an mcd clone and if companys begin making loadsa aftermarket hopups for the rampage i imagine they would fit the mcd?

i spend alot of time in dubai as well and i think the mcd baja 1000 with hpi sand paddles front and rear would be awesome:)

i'm still not decided yet.
