From the photo, the chassis looks soft. Looks like even the shock towers are plastic.

I have the same chassis Race Runner V4 this is excellent platform plastic here and there is to absorb impact they thought it well.It runs really well and Really durable too 10 tanks of abuse on local track and only one cracked rim.

Love the body, is it just me or do the front and rear bumpers look really thin?

they do look thin, I like the roll cage mounting points though.
